We're not the strongest team in the league (yet!) - far from it:

 

• Our mission is to make chess accessible to all regardless of strength.

• Most of our players have never played a competitive game before this year.

• Our average age is much lower than any other club in the league, although many of our players are retired

• We have significantly more female players than any other club in the league

• We have a significant number of junior players who are thriving despite having an autism spectrum disorder

• We have only been going for a year and we already have 3 teams entered in the league for the 24/25 season
