Edward shines in Top of the Table Battle!

This was always going to be a tough ask, facing the league leaders without three of our top players. None-the-less, all of our players, especially the juniors, have been improving at a phenomenal rate, and so anything seemed possible. I haven’t seen any of the games but I am told that the quality of the games is clearly improving. Unfortunately, on this occasion, not enough! The highlight of the round was Edward’s win against an opponent rated 200 points above him! For the rest, there was no shame aim losing to much higher rated opponents. So congratulations to Clifton who fully deserved to win and now look certain to top the league.

We have an enormous amount of talent in our club and the next task is to develop this before the beginning of the next season. Details of how we plan to do this will be shared soon!
