On Friday the Juniors played out the first of seven 5 minute tournaments as part of the UK Chess Challenge. Oliver came first outright with several players trying for second place, most notably Elliott who is really showing a lot of promise and held his own against players many years his senior. Thanks to SJ and Dan for organising this. The series continues this Friday between 6 and 7 - and all under-18s are welcome wherever they may be in their chess journey!
