On Monday, however, at The Old Mill we have a double header with the A and B teams both playing against Clifton teams. If you're not playing, why not pop in and see how they doing? I understand there will be spare sets for friendly games.
On Thursday (7th November) we have Sunset Chess at The Windmill from 19.30. Why not combine some social chess with a bite to eat and something to drink?
On Friday (8th November) club nights resume with the Junior Club at 18.00 and the Everyone Club at 19.00. It's the second Friday of the month so it will also be the Monthly Club Rapidplay - a great opportunity for our juniors to warm up and get any gremlins out of their game before Saturday's MAIN EVENT!
... and of course on Saturday we have the 3rd Portishead Junior Rapidplay. The tournament is filling up nicely but there are still places available, so any under-18s should get their entries in quick!
