Don't forget between 6 and 7 pm we are holding the first of our monthly Junior Blitz tournaments. 5 minutes each on the clock, 5 rounds, open to anyone under 18 - games count towards our internal club rating system. Newcomers very welcome and everything will be explained.
After that at a little after 7pm Andrew will be taking us through the life and games of Judit Polgar - undoubtedly the strongest woman chess player of all time, one of a trio of super strong sisters and one of the strongest grandmasters of her time. Not to be missed.
After that it is the usual club night.
